Building on the last 23 years of school focussed workshops and embracing the "five creative habits of mind" alongside our pedagogical approach to education, Hushland Creative are committed to providing innovative, creative and interactive workshops that enable, educate and inspire.

Socially Engaged artist Bill Taylor-Beales works as a solo artist as well as alongside other independent and highly skilled practitioners as the project demands. All the artists have been trained via the Arts Council of Wales - Lead Creative Schools Scheme.

Through their creative skills, they supported the children in the development of this project as time went on. This allowed the project to be led and developed by the interests of the children. At all times throughout the project, staff were part of the discussion, direction of the project and equal partners in development of the project.
Feedback from staff, children and parents was incredibly positive and supportive of the project. Staff were invigorated and enthused by the project and outcomes for children improved in attendance, engagement and oracy skills.
As a school, we are incredibly proud to have been selected to have our work, created with Bill and Mandy, installed in the Tate Modern. Giving the children the opportunity to visit the Tate was an incredible experience and also a career highlight for the staff involved.
